Syncing Shopify purchases into Phorest

When a purchase is made on Shopify for a product that you are syncing, the following will occur;

Note: If you do not want this functionality to occur, you can disable it in your settings by

• Uncheck “Sync Orders from your Shopify store to Phorest”

Save Changes

In order to create the order in Phorest, it must have the mandatory customer fields for Phorest:

1. Phone number

2. Email address

3. First name

4. Last name

If these details exist on the order, we will:

1. Look up to see if a customer with the phone number exists. If not, we will create a new one.

2. Create a purchase for that customer against the product.

This will deplete the inventory against the product.

If we do not have the mandatory customer fields for Phorest on the order, we will

1. Send a request to Phorest to reduce the stock on the product by 1.
